Nothing Phone 3(a) Community Edition
Phone 3(a) Community Edition revisits the colour, translucency and optimism of late-’90s consumer electronics. Developed with Nothing’s Industrial Design team, the project carries that playful sensibility through the phone’s tinted, frosted finish and into the packaging graphics. The result is a device shaped by the feeling of technology as a portal for play, music and imagination.

A phone inspired by the world of late 90s tech. Colourful, fun, and just like ours - see through. So Phone (3a) got a retro refresh that looks straight from the cover of a 1999 tech magazine.
By adding a colour tint and frosted finish for the first ever time on a Nothing phone, Phone (3a) Community Edition transports us back to time well wasted, playing on colourful games consoles when we were kid.
Another Nothing first, we brought the accent colours from the phone to the packaging graphics.
